   Issuing Departure Permit for Neonates

Description of Procedures
This involves description of procedures of General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs-Dubai to issue a departure permit for a neonate who was born in the state and his sponsor has an entry permit or a residence visa issued by the directorate
 
Applicant
Sponsor
 
Documents Required
1-     Origin and copy of the sponsor’s passport
2-     Copy of the mother’s passport
3-     Copy of the neonate’s passport or a travel document from the embassy or the consulate or the passport of the father or the mother in case of adding the neonate to it
4-     Origin and copy of the birth certificate of the neonate
5-     In the case of separation:
(The document of divorce and the child custody judgment to who has the custody either for the father or for the mother)
6-     In case the father was outside the state, the following should be provided
(a message from the father including no reluctance that the neonate departs the
state-document proving that the father is outside the state(certification of
       departure)from the department of payment of the fines)
 
Fees Required
1.     120 AED fees of issuing a departure permit
2.     In case of violation i.e if a departure permit wasn’t issued for the neonate before 120 days pass starting from the date of birth, the violation amount will be calculated according to the enclosure of the domestic fines and they are payable to the bank clerk at the department
3.     The neonates are exempted from the fees of departure permit issuance for 120 days after the date of birth
4.     If the father was outside the state: 130 AED fees of issuing a certificate of departure for the father from the department of payment of restrictions payable to the bank clerk
5.     No departure permit would be issued without providing the travel ticket  
 
Applicant Notices 
1.     The departure permit is valid for 7 days since the date of issuance
2.     Presence of the sponsor is obligatory
3.     In case the residence visa of the sponsor was issued from another emirate, (s) he must refer to the administration of the same emirate.
4.     In case the request of departure permit of the neonate is submitted 120 days after the date of birth, the fine must be paid first then the fees of departure permit are become payable

  • Starting from 1st May 2013 all establishments having more than 100 employees have to submit all residence and entry permit applications through E-DNRD
  • Working in different company or sponsor than the visa was issued will claim the holder a fine if he been charged with.
